So what do you listen to while traveling?

I’m often curious to know what people are listening to on the train or walking along the street. Sometimes, I’ll glance over at someone with earplugs in and can tell they are deeply lost in a beat. So since I’m in the sharing mood, here are a few tunes on my playlist that have been in heavy rotation:
De La Soul “Stakes is High”
Just about every De La Soul song I can think is so fitting for summer strolling, but this one stands out, so good, so classic…
Strategy ” Running on Empty”
Paul Dickow has been coined as a laptop savant and his instrumental work on “Future Rock” proves it. He ranges from synthy, pyschadelic, electro pop to dub (I even get an afro beat influence). Classifying his sound is probably impossible and furthermore needless. I don’t know if this was his “strategy” but he always makes me want to listen to more…

Raheem DeVaughn “Mo Better”
Raheem is definitely underrated in the R&B realm, but definitely not unnoticed. His music gives me that seratonin, feel good, lazy Sunday feeling.
Trentemoeller ”Miss You”
This song transports me somewhere, hands down one of my favorite “chill out” songs ever. For some reason it also reminds me a bit of Bjork’s song, perhaps it’s that they have the same titles? Perhaps it’s because they both remind me of ”The Possibility” (Love Jones reference, points if you know what I’m mean)
Well, that’s it for now, but I might just get inspired to include more…and if you have any suggestions, feel free to comment about them here, I could go for some new tunes!
